How To Install Acekard 2i Software on Nintendo DSi

1) Download the software
http://www.acekard.com/download/akaio/AKAIO.1.8.1.rar

2) Extract the contents of AKAIO.1.8.1 into the root directory of your microSD card

(_aio) (folder)
akmenu4.nds (file)
LoaderChangelog.txt (optional)
readme_AKAIO.txt (optionals)

3) Create a folder called "Games" in the root directory

4) Place ROMs into Games folder you just created

5) Plug it all in and turn on the DSi. Go to the "Alex Rider" icon to run the Acekard 2i software.

6) Navigate to the Games folder to choose which game to load.

Hey, thanks for the video. This does sound easy enough. Quick question though, does it matter if my dsi is version 1.4.1u? I got my acekard from mygamingmart and they say they it will pre-flashed...do you think I'll have any problems...?

@toonib okay.. if it is giving you problems on 1.4.1 there is a fix for it on the acekard forums.. basically you have to patch a file but you need access to a DS Lite or DSi with 1.3 firmware or below.

So I don't need Nintendo DS Lite to update soft like for Nintendo 3DS when I need it ? The one thing which I must do is ; 1) download from this site 2) don't matter about upgrade and I don't need Lite version ? Right ?

thanks for the information, could you help me here , need to put the soft wear on to dsi , as it my granddaughter deleted by formatting , and i need to find it on the net to reinstall , so that the chip will be read by the dsi , thanks
