AMD Phenom II X4 955 Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 3Dmark06 High Definition 720p

I recently purchased AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition so I made a video from the benchmark program 3dmark06. My video card is Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 1GB. The Canyon Flight is recorded with Fraps at 1440x900. The benchmark results at the end of the video is when I run benchmark at default settings in 3dmark06 at 1280x800 and not recording with Fraps. I overclocked my AMD Phenom II X4 to 3.5Ghz from default 3.2Ghz. Music at the end of the video with the benchmark results comes from http://www.freesound.org/

can my cheap psu ( inter tech sl 500 w) run well with this cpu ? (my specs x4 955 black edition 4gb ram ddr2 1333mhz hd 4650 1gb (55w) ) i dont think if it is a good psu... :/ cuz the cpu need around 125-130w...or more... thank you

@SirHubCAp You be better of buying a DDR3 motherboard, their cheaper, DDR2 motherboards is hard to come by today and DDR3 memory modules are much cheaper then DDR2 since DDR2 is being phased out from the market. A-DATA makes very affordable high quality memory modules both for normal desktop and gaming computers. I can recommend Fractal Design power supplies if you can get them in your country. Fractal Design is a Swedish company that makes very high quality products to very affordable prices.

the AMD Phenom II X4 945 is what I have, and i was wondering how do you set it so it performs at its best 3.0ghz at all times? Instead of performing better when mroe tasks are displayed. Im not sure if you get what im saying... but yeah like now all 4 cores are balanced at 800mhz, but i rather it perform at its best and not when it needs to.

@crazyspooks10 Go to Power Management in Windows XP and set it to Desktop (Allways On.) I think it's called In Windows 7 and Vista set it to High Performance. Then also turn of Cool and Quiet in Bios. Hope this helps. This makes your cpu run a full speed all the time.

@Cqub3 wasn't talking about the content's of the video rather the quality itself being way downgraded from 720p. If it's not originally 720p youtube should not give the 720p option for viewing. It would be nice if all videos were actually what they say is all i'm saying, even sites like gamespot used to claim 720p when it was nothing but 480p or less. Great vid by the way, there's really nothing wrong with it, just youtube being almost never HD even when it says.

And a dual core will always bottleneck good cards, so always buy a CPU first

@Cqub3 no you will never get smooth anything with that card. get a couple 5770s or a 6850 they are a really good deal right now. You'll get more out of new card than new cpu likely. Sounds like you got ripped off though.
