I'm aware that this post is very old but it's just too funny to not comment on. I was born and raised in Edmonton for eighteen years, was DEVASTATED that my Oilers lost, but really... dissing the Canes because they play in NC? Over 70% of the transplant in Raleigh are from Michigan. And as far as fans go, I saw an Oilers game there this year (with my Oilers jersey on and all) and the fans couldn't have been nicer. I had a few sarcastic jabs here and there but overall, Carolina fans are classy.
