One of the few instances where I can say we still have the family set in our possession. This is my grandfather's RCA Radiola III.

It's complete, original and unrestored. One of the WD-11's shows continuity, the other is a dud.

One of the sets I'd like to restore one of these days.

  • @muddymuddymuddmann If I had to guess, it'd probably be a WD-11 or WD-12, which are very scarce. You should be able to find adaptors to allow you to use other tubes.

  • Glad to see it is a family radio and it really looks nice too. That was and amazing thing to have when it was new. Very nice!

  • @batterymaker THANKS FOR THE IDEA AND INFO. MINE IS THE 1922 MODEL RADIOLA SENIOR. IT HAS THE BAKELITE PANELINSTEAD OF THE WOOD ONE. IT IS IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION. IT SHINES ON ALL BUT THE TOP OF THE BOX.
