Crosby, Stills & Nash "Wasted on the Way" (cover, full harmony)

My cover of Crosby Stills & Nash's "Wasted on the Way" from the 1982 album Daylight Again. Set to posterized & time-compressed aerial footage of Monument Valley in UT/AZ, Alaska's Mendenhall Glacier, and Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls. These were vaguely suggested by the album cover and by the recurrent theme of flowing water in the song.

The harmony is in 3 parts for most of the way with a fourth part making an occasional appearance. Vocals recorded with a PC and a cheap Shure dynamic mic...canned backing track...Mixed in Cool Edit/Audition with convolution reverb, EQ, detuned double-tracking, and multiband compression.

wow you guys sound great. i like this song.you did a good job of this cover. i really like it. its a great song of old friends getting back together again. after lifes problems got in the way.we had problems but it worked its self out. honestly my friends from my childhood are the best friends i ever had, not ones later in life. i still talk to my friends from 35 years ago. thanks for a great song, its all water under the bridge if its a great friend . and i have many.
