This is in car video from my Datsun 2000 Roadster from the Coronado Festival of Speed. This year marked the addition of several Datsuns into this event with a great turnout and a fantastic race.

That was awesome! I haven't kept up to date with your racing, but this was another absolute blast to live vicariously through your wonderful driving, with a much better result this time around : ) Nice pass at the end there! Did you manage to hold him off?

One last thing, what is it you were signaling to the other drivers?

@granite65granite The Alfa did not catch us as we were much faster though the turns. The little black Elva did pass the Alfa and he passed me with about a half lap to go. Great race, it was lots of fun. We will have more video to come.

@granite65granite When faster traffic comes up behind me I will give the driver a point by, its a way of saying that I see them and I am letting them by on one side or the other.

The Blue Ginnetta (BRE46racer) is a friend so I waived after I let him by.

NIce job passing the Alfa at the 9 minute mark ,and that was right before the tire barriers that were extra tight this year;

Great video and good seeing you again this year. Your line was way better than these two guys - Proof that smoother is faster. One was sliding his ass all over the place and the other kept locking his brakes into the corners. Nice driving and you came back with both side view mirrors!!!

Omar did seem to be struggling in his red Alfa. I thought he was more interested in blocking than racing :)

That pesky Alfa was all over the road with the Adam's 610 In-car-cam as well. Almost looked like he was driving hammer ;)
