How to play The World I Know

Me showing how to play the intro to The world I know by Collective Soul. I found out the song uses a 12 string but hey, no reason you still can't get the sound with a 6 string. Sorry, I beefed a bit on a couple parts.

I play this song out with a 6 string and I tune the E string up so I don't have to stretch.

well actually, you're not supposed to do it this way with a 12 string. This is for 6 strings that want the 12 strings sound. You don't have to do the pinky part for the 12 string.

well as I said in the description, I did find out they use a 12 string and use bass notes with 3rds. But this is just they I figured out how to play it with a 6 string to get a close sound.

There's a way to do it with 4 strings... it doesn't sound as good but its a hella lot easier if your a beginner.

Hey man.... I've seen about all I can take with the "lessons" on the intro to this tune on youtube and I gotta hand it to you... you got the "right" chords down perfectly. Almost everyone else leaves that pinky position out either cuz they can't do it or they don't hear it. I play it the exact same way and I know it's the right way. Nice job.
