Of the 52 on board, 18 survived the crash. Ten of these were gunned down by the ZIPRA terrorists (whose leader was Nkomo) as they begged for there lives. Another three played dead and lived. Five others had gone after water and help and survived, but the villagers were so afraid of ZIPRA retaliation they were reluctant to help. This was Rhodesia's 911. Nkomo has no right to complain: it was his ZIPRA forces who gunned down most of the survivors---including women and children---of Air Rhodesia flight 825 (the Hunyani). He is a terrorist, just like Mugabe and all the "war veterans." There shouldn't BE sanctions, someone should just take these bastards out.

Mugabe should be tried and hanged. In 1982 he started Gukurahundi - terror and murder of Ndebele people who did not want to align with ZANU. The scale of atrocities obscured Nazis: 3 FEB 1983: Mass beating of villagers and shooting of 2 young pregnant girls, followed by their being bayonetted open to reveal the still moving foetuses. 13 FEB 1983: Whole village beaten, and 7 shot dead, including a teacher, after digging their own grave. Witnesses refer to a fountain of blood from the pit.
