Philip J. Berg, a former University of Toledo law student, is suing Sen. Barack Obama, asking questions about the Democratic presidential nominee's citizenship. Berg doesn't believe he was born in the United States and if the Illinois senator is elected, it would cause a crisis within the U.S. Constitution. Obama's campaign contends he was born in Hawaii. FOX Toledo's Kristi Leigh investigates.

Let's put this to a rest... if he has nothing to hide, then just produce the original birth certificate. It seems to be a simple request. This question - whether he meets one of the three basic qualifications to be eligible to be POTUS - should be addressed and put to rest as soon as possible. While Berg is certainly not without flaws, his argument seems plausible.

I think Berg started this campaign with commercial interests at heart. I would be looking at his background and establish if HE is a citizen. Next I would review his income since perpetrating a lie. He continues with his accusations because when the media and sheeple hype subsides, he will be at the end of a defamation suit. Berg best be wary of defamation action looming at the end of Obama term. For his sake, he'd better wish for a second term for Obama and amnesia for his followers.

Possibly the scariest thing that no one is realizing is the fact that people in power can do what they want. It's wrong, but true and scary. If they wanted to invent government papers with his name and a seal on it, I'm sure his connections would make that happen.

It frustrates me that people assume you are racist or dumb for wanting correct documentation supplied. My husband is black, my son bi-racial just like Obama and I STILL believe if Obama is a natural born citizen, the motion to supress his documents would never have been filed. Something is being hidden and this will be the next president scandal, and will be read in our children's textbooks years from now if these documents are being hidden for a reason.
