  • God, Faye Dunaway is so fantastic, why isn't she more recognized?? I guess it truly goes to show that roles for older women in Hollywood are basically non existent, and the few ones that exist are all monopolized by Meryl Streep, who is amazing obviously, but so is Faye.

  • @LaSerpentaCanta In my book, only FAYE DUNAWAY is the BEST.

  • So glad you posted this. You rock wanda

  • She gave an excellent performance as Wilhemina Cooper in this film.

  • Y r ppl arguing about da receptionist encounter...yes it was fictional bt it was to show how blunt gia really was..she was like joan jett in some ways...she was androgynous and dressed and behaved like a man..the book is better bt the potrayal by angelina jolie was good too..and faye dunaway just looks so gorgeous.

  • @wandawilcox Indeed, I adore her.

  • @kayzse: Well you ask "Did you watch the whole movie...?" what do you expect? When writing it is hard to tell if someone is being sarcastic or not. Adding a simple "Just kidding..." or "just asking...' helps. So in a sense you needed to be excused. But for the record, there is a book. It's by Stephen Freid & you learn a whole lot more about the real Gia & the players in her life, not seen w/in the movie. Pick it up because it is really good. You'll laugh, you'll cry & you'll really think.

  • @robynsegg i said film not book, i didn't even know there was a book. relax, there really is no need to stress and i don't need anybody to excuse me!

  • @kayzse: Yes, I not only watched the whole film, I READ THE BOOK that the movie is based upon by Stephen Freid, 5 TIMES. & If you had read the book, you would've have known that Gia's mother ACTUALLY ACCOMPANIED HER on said modeling interview... not some dude who was her good-time cut-buddy. She was NOT a Joan Jett clone. She wore a simple plain yet tasteful outfit & her dark brown hair was neatly combed, AND she had manners. So I stand by my earlier statement so excuse you.

  • @robynsegg did you watch the whole film? she didn't grow up with her mum because her mum left when she was a child
