I don't think you can avoid it all together. Just saying it sucks it's in the background. At least you are amongst fellow enthusiasts.
Perhaps if everyone had an engine warm up time and then fly time. I can't even fly RC's yet so I don't know all the ettiquite. But, I did go to an R/C track event and I learned the hard way about frequency confusion.

Forgive me for saying this, but I think I hate it when other RC engines are running in the background. The scale sound of this Mustang is being drowned out a lot by a said other RC engine.

@eljan81 I agree completely. I was going to replace the sound with music but when you were able to hear the 50cc it sounded sweet. Next time I'll look around to see what's going on in the pits before taking offTks
