  • Werewolf V.S. Werewolf, AND Mad scientist Vampires? why isn't this movie more popular?!

  • It's a bit weird that a film called "Frankenstein" does not actually feature the said monster.

  • A true classic that inspired me to make werewolf films!

  • @miakaal

From what I hear when the movie came to the people who released it in American theatres they had claimed to be working on a Frankenstein project but just ended up releasing this under that title and making a hilarious intro where they say that somehow the Frankenstein family became the Wolfstein family, and it was on a double bill with Terror of Frankenstein (THAT movie features the Monster and his creator in a very close adaptation of the book if you haven't seen it).

  • is this one of these nudie films? Hope not cuz if it is then my mum will find out.

  • Watching the movie right now. Back when werewolf/vampire movies were a good thing.

  • @MontagTheMagician Adamson's DRACULA VS. FRANKENSTEIN was to be released by Sherman/I-I. The lab confiscated the negs during a legal despute, so Sherman imported this film (originally shot in 70mm 3D) to make up for it, hence the opening that "Frankenstein has now become Wolfstein!" The DvF deal was cleared by the time Sherman had imported and dubbed this film, so they went out on a double together.
