  • Jimmy didnt you say that young children develeop the ability to understand certain things in stages?? Well... you'll understand one of these days. Or if you ever do visit CA make sure to stop by our school and I'm sure you'll really understand how well are system works for children and adults. Oh and at 5 years old most kids can read and tell time. There is way more to Kingi's Kajukenbo then what you just see on this 24 second clip.

  • Sifu Kim... its me Dakota from Kajukenbo ... do you remember me?

  • Age has nothing to do with it or size. It's all about fighting smart and using what you learned.

  • I honestly believe this was good for the kids

They learn self defense..there are many dangers in this world and if they don't kno how to protecct them selves at a young age they could be seriously hurt.. I give your school 5 thumbs up.. I expectd a little wrestling

Match bcuz they were so little... I saw them little kids throwing moves that ide expect from an older fighter! I don't kno how you do it but if you can teach kids that young then you have a great school!

  • DAM LOOK AT THOSE KNEE STRIKES

  • 5 year olds get kidnapped all the time. Isnt it assuring to know that Kajukenbo kids have a better than average chance of servival because they DO KNOW how to strike, and strike HARD and FIGHT HARD... I say yes, especially since we have TWO attemted klidnaps of students of mine, that got away... the end DOES justify the means

  • First, I'd like to say that it's great that kids learning a striking art are actually learning a striking art. I see WAY too many that have gained grades but have no real concept of what it is to give or take a real hit. Their parents are wasting their money if they think that their kids are martially proficient. This school certainly teaches striking

But I am concerned about kids this young being hit so hard in the chest, especially because of commotio cordis. Sensei, how do you deal with this?

  • OH! your only 20 years old...no wonder. My apologies for riding you like that. One day you may understand...

  • good.

I was expecting an actual response to my argument, but its nice to know that they're ok.

I will search within myself for an answer to why I commented on some video and responded to the reply.... One day I will discover what my hang up is about five year olds brawling. Thank you for this advice and your other thoughts.

  • You are being judgemental from a very limited viewpoint of one video posted on youtube. You are reaching way to deep for answers to justify your intial comment, but until you come down and check it out for yourself, it means nothing. So if you are ever in CA, stop on by. :-)
