LINDEN GM PLANT PICTURES - THis video will shoe some pictures and 1 video of the progress of the LINDEN NEW JERSEY GM PLANT DEMOLITION. The first piece of metal torn down was on Feburary 19 2008. And completly finished on July 31 2008. I have kept up with pictures and videos with the GM PLANT. I used to go there every weekend but now since its finished there is almost nothing to take pictures or videos of. About a few months ago TESTA was taking up slabs with a CATERPILLAR 992C and a CATERPILLAR 773B. The CAT 992C was loading the CAT 773B with the concrete slabs. I think they are finished taking up the slabs but i can be wrong....On the site the most machines they had there was 23 machines, they may seem not alot but it is there was 6 KOMATSU PC1250'S. The KOMATSU PC1250'S made the progress go faster.
TESTA was ahead of schedule By 6 MONTHS! TO BE CONTINUED!! DONT FORGET TO COMMENT AND RATE:):)

its true that gm made some crappy carsbut they also made alot of good ones in my opinion they make the finest cars im a mechanic and i always buy gm cars and i saw alot of crap foriegn cars

I agree - my husband retired 4 years before they shut down. How many jobs lost, workers who had to relocate for only months before retirement, not to mention local businesses feeling the effects...sad...but that's corporate America for you...
