Chapter 2, Part 2

Josh then walked into the kitchen and said, "ohh, it's only you," as he saw me with his friend right behind him. "Yeah, I missed you too, bro," I said back to him and continued eating.
"Christine, aren't you gonna say hi?" he yelled back at me as if he was embarrassed. "Sorry, my sister has bad manners!!" he told him. "Nah, its cool man," his friend said. "Well, Christine this is Joe, and Joe this is my sister," he said presenting us to each other. But when he said "my sister" he said it in a tone as if he was disappointed that this was true, but I don't know? I just always wondered what he really thinks of me, or maybe I'm just too sentimental? Either way he got on my nerves.

However, as he presented us Joe said, "Hey!" And I just looked up at him and said a quick hi and then I looked back at my food.
Josh said, "Ahh, Christine you're such an..." but got interrupted by Emily's crying. I guess she woke up and was scared, but I thought that my mom will go running for her. I looked up at Josh and told him, "I'm what??" He replied, "You're an..." and again he got interrupted but by my mom's shouting, "Christine, get your sister!!!" I obeyed my mother and I stood up and walked up to Josh and told him, "We'll finish this later," and I shoved right past his shoulder showing him that I was mad at him. But as I walked up the stairs I heard him yell, "See if I care!!!" And that even made me madder. I went in my room and saw my sister crying, I walked up to her and I hold her in my arms and said, "Don't cry, don't cry." And soon she stopped crying and she was ok again.

With Josh and Joe as I was going to check on Emily.
Joe: dude, that was mean...
Josh: what are you talking about? (as he was checking over the stove of what Mom had cooked)
Joe: the way you were talking to your sister.
Josh: ohh, forget about her.
Joe: but Josh..
Josh: Joe, it's not worth mentioning.
Joe: alright, whatever you say. So how old is she?
Josh: um... 15.
Joe: ohh, cool. So is my brother. Let's hook them up..
Josh: hahaha, no...she don't do guys.
Joe: huh?
Josh: Well, she is kinda slow...she is not into guys, yet.
Joe: right, are you sure? I think if they'll meet they'll totally get along.
Josh: hmm.. I don't know. (thinks) I don't want to give your brother this pain.
Joe: dude...she's your sister!!!! Do you hate her or something?
Josh: no...but there are some days when she is just AHH! Do you get me?
Joe: sure dude.

Then a couple minutes later my mom came back up and Josh presented her to Joe. My mother thought he was a really nice and polite guy, unlike my brother, who was a total opposite.

Back with me.
As soon as my sister was relaxed again I let her walk on the floor. She was heading to the door and I quickly carried her again. As I hold her I can hear her stomach growling, and why not? It was almost 4pm and she hasn't eaten anything. I then took her down and I walked into the kitchen. I saw Josh and Joe eating some of the food that my mom had cooked.
"Mom, is there anything for Emily to eat?" I asked as I walked in.
"Yeah, give her this," she said giving me her smashed bananas and apples. But then suddenly I feel Emily getting away out of my hold. And I turned quickly and saw Josh holding her.
"Joe, meet my sister Emily," he said as he hold her and placed her in front of Joe for him to see her.
"Aww, she's so cute.." Joe replied.
"Yeah, she's the best," Josh said back.

I don't know what got me madder as I heard that. If it was either because he took her away from me without asking or if he was picking favorites between us. I don't know?
But all this anger and resentment got clogged up in my throat, but at least I managed to say a couple words. "Are you gonna feed her?" I asked in a soft and calm tone while looking at him. He then turned to me and said, "No, that's why you're here for," and he handed me Emily. The truth was that I felt like saying so many things to him, but I was already tired of all this and I didn't feel like fighting back with him. So I just carried Emily back and took her to the living room so I can feed her. And be far away of Josh as possible.

-Hmmm..so wat do you guys think???? is Josh a total pain? or is Christine?
