Nope these are not a cheap wood guitar. For those of us that can afford them I dont think there are many that have regretted spending the extra bucks. Only regrets is they have gone out of business before I could buy two more.

I'd rather get a cheaper guitar made of wood. I mean, these things aren't that affordable.

Last summer, on a spur of the moment visit to Manny's in NYC I saw this line of guitars in their acoustic dept. I didn't think about them again until seeing the travel size in a SamAsh catalog earlier today. The price for the travel size, in the Ash catalog, is....$900.00. Oy!
