I just keep thinking about what Toski (I think it was Toski) said about the golf swing being a "measure of time," a fundamentally rhythmic thing, and how that tempo and rhythm tend to render unnecessary so many mechanical thoughts. (Cf. Seymour Dunn et al. on "Never confuse something that happens in the swing with something you have to _do_.") Al really did have the moneymaker, didn't he?

i played with him last year and he shot a 68 at montecito country club at the age of 73, unreal, never misses a fairway!! his swing is gangsta son!!
