Alistair Darling admits National Insurance is an income tax (25July10)

After 13 years of National Insurance rises, and 13 years of denying that Labour never increased income tax, today Alistair Darling admits that National Insurance IS an income tax. So he's also admitted that Labour have lied for 13 years when they claim they NEVER raised income tax.
