Sylvia Greenberg performs virtuoso Mozart Aria on 'Anneliese Rothenberger'

In 1984 'Anneliese Rothenberger Stellt Vor' showcased singers who had made their big break on the show in previous years and were now enjoying major careers.

Following her 1979 appearance on the show, Sylvia Greenberg returned to the show to perform a lesser known Aria of Mozart's called 'No, no che non sei capace'. This aria was written specifically for the singer Aloysia Weber, in order to showcase her virtuoso abilities, and inserted into a revival production of Pasquale Anfossi's opera 'Il curioso indiscreto' at Vienna's Burgtheater in 1783.

While relatively unknown, it is a wonderful aria for showcasing virtuoso coloratura performance.
