During my Junior year of high school, our teacher, Drew Keiter, tasked us to build a trebuchet capable of hurling a bowling ball over 100 feet, this video shows our creation in building, testing, and calibrating. In the final video, you'll see our trebuchet hurl a 11 pound bowling ball 109 feet.

well i can see you didn't plan out the sling to body to counter weight to weight of object ratio lol, nice work other wise (not really) i plan on making one this summer, i have the plans and all the ratios planned out

Just need a shorter sling and you should throw 50 yards+

holy fuck that sucked. dont post this kind of boring shit into teh internet. i could build a better one. or heck why wouldnt i just trow teh fucking ball cause you trebuchet didnt fire more than what 1 feet! FUCK YOU! :D
