I don't really know your situation so I am only commenting on what I am seeing in the video and the comments made. I didn't see any encourgement from you when you were running. If anything with you sitting straight up. Do you use any kind of spurs? My daughter used bumper spurs and never a whip. You can see her videos on her channel jweeks7. I think your horse would love to run if encouraged her to run more with your body and maybe spurs.

yeah i agree with you, i wasnt pushing at all, i was just letting her breeze it... yeah i use bumper spurs, but its the same as the whip, she will slow up if i use it too much

@shewillbeloved1997 Whipping isnt cruel! How is it for your entertainment? I whip for encouragment, when you kick your horse it can knock out theyre wind, whipping is actually better than kicking. Plus horses have thick skin, a whip is kinda like a tap on the shoulder for us. GET THE FACTS before you judge and say thngs are curel.

if i whiped... my horse would make a great run, but i would lose his trust and he would be really really jumpy and scared for the rest of the ride and if he saw the whip coming he would shake and pace and get really nervous. He was abused tho... and yeah ik that is what would happen cuz thats what happened a couple weeks ago and it took about a week just to get him to freely walk up to me again. but he's fine now.

my boy will do anything in the world for you, if you ask. if he sees a whip it gets snatched outa your hand!! he's the one in a million that won't stoically take crap like most horses.

whips dont hurt the horse unless you use them wrong i think a whip is good to use in speed events
