This is my first vocal composition accompanied by lyrics from the Yeats poem, "He Wishes for Cloths From Heaven." You'll hear it played by strings instead of what it's obviously intended for, a choir. And yeah, I painted myself into a corner with some of the voice ranges - that's something I'm changing in the coming days, however this is the gist of the piece. If you can't read the lyrics on the video, here is the poem below:

Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

- Thanks!
