Psalm 19 (728b)
to the tune of Our God, He Is Alive by Aaron W. Dicuss, 1966
by Jason Goldtrap 02.02.02
The stars that in the heaven's shine,
declare God's glory down to man.
The sun follows a perfect line,
just like a bridegroom o'er the land.
Refrain
There is a God, He is alive
In Him we live and we survive.
From dust our God created man.
He is our God, the great I am.
God's law is always pure and right,
it revives the poorest mortal soul.
It makes the blind man see the light,
and makes the wounded man be whole.
Refrain
His Word, more valuable than gold,
its sweet like honey from a comb,
Wisdom can lead to wealth untold,
and can direct the stranger home.
Refrain
Who can a word against God speak?
And who can truly know my path?
God's Word can give strength to the weak,
and make his joy eternal last.
Refrain
My words be pleasing in your ears,
and may your eyes forever see,
A servant faithful through the years,
forever trusting Lord in Thee!
