I really don't understand what some of these people are fighting about. This is not some kind of "American Idol"! Arnel Pineda has been hired as the lead vocalist of Journey to succeed the '08 version of the band. He is NOT competing against Steve Perry, he is carrying on the legacy of his. Just chill, and be entertained by the music. After all, music is all about entertainment. If you're looking for power struggle, join the politics, and you'll find plenty of it there!!!

The original version was more of a soft-rock version. This is a very hard rock version. I prefer the soft rock because here the guitar is way too loud in comparison to the original. It would be okay if it were originally almost a heavy metal song. The guitar seems more appropriate for heavy metal and the voice is off... It doesn't really sound Journeyesque, more KISS like and too hard on the guitar and vocals. This guy is burning out his vocals thanks to Schon.

this is the first song I heard with arnel by accident and I had no idea it wasn't steve perry, because of the video I thought this was from an 80's concert with perry. needless to say I m going to see them in 2 weeks
