Thirty seconds in, listen to how the B-3 stops chopping and lays down some nice chords. I bought this when it first came out and I still listen to it . Also check out #3 on the album... soulful strut

Being from Jamaica he has an authentic feel of the culture and though this is done with with jazz melodies you can still feel the "feel". Jaaaahhh Rastafari-i-i-i

PART 2: I didn't have a clue about "jazz" and I guess I still don't, for I love Monty best when he actually sticks to his beautiful renditions of a simple song or tune before wandering off into his impro spheres. Alas, in '84 at l'Abri I didn't know WHOSE hand I shook and WHO actually was speaking so humbly to me then about his origins, his music, his style of clothing,...I have treasured that encounter since. Guess it ain't an easy life to be a genius. Long and happy life to thee, Monty.
MONTY I LOVE THOSE CHORD CHANGES.

You can get it on iTunes, and I'm sure you'd find it at a local record shop. They can always order it in for you. I've got this album, and love every second of it.
