The night before my Gen1 version of the EV1 was recalled back in March 2000 due to an electical issue, I went for one last midnight run. I was later able to get a Gen2 but had to return it when the lease expired as GM ended the program, the car was later crushed by GM.

  • The thing is it shouldn't be futureistic. We should be watching this video saying "Wow thats what the old EV1's looked like. I like my new one a lot better."

  • i have not seen any compelling evidence to suggest that an electric car would have any more practical difficulty operating in a "cold" climate that any regular combustion engine.

  • @tubeyou443 I totally agree with you. Instead, we're running in 2010/2011 Cadillacs, Mercedes and all the stuff which are 150% worser than EV1.

God, when you realize we had future in our hands and were taken back to the stone ages because of OIL COMPANIES and GM... it makes me get pissed off!

    Damn mafias.

  • ces triste la voiture idéal mais dans les mains

d'une entreprise merdique junkie au pétrole

GM je te souhaite de crever la gueule ouverte

  • gore for president i think not.I hope that was just a joke^^..bt i love the ev 1..did you see the telsa sedan its a really nice car. just think about it eletric cars which grab energy that is released by a transmitter the nikola telsa designed so really no need for batteies

  • very true,indeed !

  • This is so Futuristic! 100%

  • they recalled those cars because they did so good that the economy would loose so much money that they recalled them and smashed them

  • here here! gm = greed mongers

  • I don't thing it was just 'Big Oil'. It is the paradigm of the IC engine and the entire infrastructure that goes with it that has been around for over 100 years. EVs are disruptive to that established system. Changing something like that can't be done easily (or quickly). I really wanted one of these. I do believe that the IC engine has reached the end of the line technologically. A century is a pretty good run but all things come to an end. GM may fight it but the future is inevitable.
