@Chaoitcme In daily life, the most important factor for acceptance isn't age, but looks. If a 16 year old girl comes home with a very good looking 30 year old hotshot, the parents will accept the stud. But if the a 20 year old girl introduces a 20 year old very ugly guy, the parents will not accept him. It doesn't matter if he's got a uni degree or whether he's a good person. The most important thing for acceptance is good looks.

@johnnygamer2011 Yeah I looked up the legal age to have sex and in some states it is as young as 14. Now that is a little to young for me but it is legal in a few States. The people that get arrested for having sex with people that are 17 reside in states where the legal age is 18. People need to abide by their States laws even if they are silly. I do not see how a year makes any difference though. 17 and 18 are pretty much the same thing.

@Chaoitcme Read wikipedia org wiki/Age_of_consent. It clearly states that the age of consent in the US is 16 to 18. In a lot of media reports, teachers and other adults are arrested for having sexual activity with a minor who are often 17. It's not 16 in all states. It's females and christians who set the age of consent this high. Everyone knows that 15 year olds already are sexually active. It's the Western society who fear the political power of the puritans.
