@gardee37rn Because belief guides our actions and our actions can cause harm. Belief isn't knowledge or fact, it isn't even a truth based concept. It's just what you happen to believe. How we feel and act and react moment by moment in the world is based upon our beliefs. A thing doesn't have to be true, all that's needed is for you believe that it's true and you'll feel that it's true and act accordingly.
Make sure you have good reason for believing something. It really matters.

why does the religious belief a person holds seem to bother so many people? religious denominations have guidelines and focused area of study just as all employers have guidlines or retail merchants have rules in their stores.

While cute a comment, the fact I was born before you shows that, as a supreme being, you're mistaken, therefore flawed, therefore not a supreme being. XD
Before asserting such as " Everything in this world is made up to the point where we ourselves have brainwashed our own minds", I'd ask you investigate the technique of the scientific method.
Try A Beginner's Guide to Scientific Method by S. Carey:

ISLAM HAS NO PROBLEM WITH SCIENCE READ HOLY QURAN

this may not make sense but its my own explanation. Everything in this world is made up to the point where we ourselves have brainwashed our own minds. where "ego" rules the present past and future. Not self. Life started on october 30 1992 my birthday. i am my own god, and my own creator.

This is an invitation to everyone or anyone to see an artist theory on the physics of light and time!
This theory is based on two postulates
1. Is that the quantum wave particle function Ψ represents the forward passage of time ∆E ∆t ≥ h/2π itself
2. Is that Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π that is formed by the w- function is the same uncertainty we have with any future event that we can interact with turning the possible into the actual!
Its sad that people of faith can't see that science isn't an enemy, but a means to find a truth, a truth to answer the big questions. Sciences help us put more understanding to the things we can't yet grasp. Whats the biggest question we have right now? it seems to me that would be how did we come to be. I'm so sick of hearing about pity from those from a religious stand-point. We just seek the same answers you do from an empirical stand-point.

it's really annoying that i just wanna learn some shit about science and i constantly get religious fanatics shoving sentences they have memorized that came out of a book 2000 years ago, of a guy that nobody has seen that is alive today.
IN SHORT, I JUST DON'T GIVE A SHIT.
