  • I believe these otters won't be released as they are Asian Short Clawed otters so won't survive in our habitat and not a natural specie compared to the European otter Lutra Lutra

  • I agree, I'm no expert in Otters in the world. As you probably know Otters are found on all continents except Australia and Antarctica, but different regions have very slight differences (it's called evolution).

I was just a tourist at an Otter sanctuary that day.

I was at the time working for The Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust at the time and chatted to some of the guys there about the re introduction we had done with your guys at the Otter trust 20 yrs ago at 2 reserves of ours

  • @Soundsystemcaptain they are a part of a release programe

  • No they can't and shouldn't

  • The Asians ate them later on.

    Asians eat fucking anything.

  • LOOK AT THESE OTTERS MAN

  • THEY'RE SO CUTE!!!!!!!! ^_^

  • Otters have to be my favorite of all marine creatures.

  • they sound like they were about to sing MGMT songs.

  • @TheBrendadale Yes, I have seen an otter slide and also running and sliding on ice, they are so graceful i8n water and also on ice, I have seen otters kill a Grey Heron by swimming under the water and the poor heron did not see the otter till it was too late and by that time the otter had it by its feet and dragging it into the water.

  • @Soundsystemcaptain

    NEVER!

    FIGHT FOR THEM, COWARD!

    WE MEET AT DAWN!

  • @otterman3 Our Otters here in Northern Ontario are also loners. The little ones stay with Mom a year or so and then they're off on their own until they mature and mate and raise their own isolated little families. Have you ever seen Otter Slides? Or an otter sliding? They're almost as adept in snow as they are in water! Beautiful creatures!!!!!

  • Omg, all I want to do is just roll around in that otter pile and just snuggle with otters

  • they sound like those harry potter plants! I think there called mandrages?
