May Allah help you and guide you to the true religion. You should take help from a nearby Mosque or Islamic organization.

and the west says we "oppress" women?
wow. i didnt no looking after her husband, his property, his honour and her kids-the future muslim generation- was "oppressive" to women :p

What an amazing story and she really is clever and articulated... An inspiration for all women, muslim, non-muslim or becoming one!
I have been looking into Islam these past months, I just need the courage and humbleness to actually apply it. I pray to Allah to help me. I hope my husband understands my choices...

Allah give you the dunya and the akhirah, ameem

Mashallah sister may Allah guide and help you and give you strength Ameen
As Allah said in the Quran
We will soon show them Our signs in the Universe and in their own souls, until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth. Is it not sufficient as regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things?
