My attempt at playing 'Misirlou', a twangy SoCal surf guitar hit for Dick Dale and the Del-Tones in May 1962. Relax as the waves break on the beach and laugh as I knacker my wrist in a semiquaver frenzy.

Some people have asked for tabs. I made up the intro and the fills myself, but I used the following tab as a starting point:

  • what the hell was that?

  • @StoneMaestro It was me getting carpal tunnel syndrome.

  • could i have tabs please

  • @rosengan9181

There's a link to the tabs I used as a starting point in the description above (when I checked the link it was broken but it's fixed now). The intro and other bits I did by ear, but the basic tune is pretty simple to pick up. Hope that helps!
