Well, not really. They still make updates now and then and there are things that need to be changed but there ain't that much content that they actually can add (They could ofc, but they want the game to stay true to it's roots). It's still a fun game to play now and then.

They did the same thing with Tribes Ascend :released the game,made a few patches after launch (introducing some very OP weapons though) and after that abandon the game almost completely and started focusing on their next title Smite.

This is is like Global Agenda, except 100 times better. It's also a game that the developers actually seem to be putting effort in and not abandoning like they did with GA.

Man, Firefall sure has changed. The characters look like they're moving in slow motion compared to before.

Shame you don't get to see the PvE world as I think that is easily the better half of the game. If you ever wanted Borderlands to be an mmo then Firefall (PvE) is it, with of course its own character.
