Shine

Based on the true story of Australian pianist David Helfgott, as he grows up and into a child prodigy and goes away to study overseas. During a major concert, he suffers a breakdown and returns to Australia where he spends a life in an institution. Many years later he is released and through several twists of fate (in reality even more unlikely than film portrays) he starts playing a piano in a bar before finally returning to the concert hall.

Wow Geofrey Ruch has this guy down almost 100%! I met the real David Helfgott Three years ago in september when he played a concert in Pretoria SA, I got to meet him by a freak accident but the point is he is exactly like in the movie! I cant get over it to this day!
