From humble beginnings with just one boat, bought for cash in 2000, Bhagwan Marine now boasts a fleet of over 50 high performance vessels, servicing oilrigs, platforms, dredging operations and larger vessels off the coast of WA.
With ambitions to be not the biggest, but the best, it was the purchase of Dalmarine in March 2009 that allowed Loui Kannikoski and his team to diversify their offshore operations to include in-shore operations too.
And it's smart acquisitions like this, combined with a 'can do' attitude and an open relationship with Bankwest Business, that has seen the business grow from a small company, to a large-scale operation with over 400 staff.
"We're not a run of the mill business. So it's been great having Bankwest's senior people up here seeing what we do, so they can really understand the opportunities and challenges of our business."
Hear from Loui Kannikoski about his experience in the marine shipping business and how Bankwest Business backed his business growth and success.
