Others have been hit by Daniel Owens this time around, all seem to be year old videos. Had it just been one, I'd have shrugged it off as a troll, but so far 4 users with Daniel Owens filing against videos critical of him? Too much of a coincidence, and it's not like he haven't used fraudulent copyright notices before.

UPDATE#1 08/08/2010:
I have two of my videos removed, the second happened Friday night. And when I filed a counter notice on the claims, I received a threatening pseudo-legal letter (email) from Daniel Owens, pretending to be someone representing him, the letter is poorly written, and certainly have no legal merit.
A copy of this mail have been uploaded to Mediafire. The rar file contains a full message source, including header, and a plain text copy. Both have been scrubbed of my name and contact information:

I just got buttfucked by this guy 15 minutes ago. My channel has almost NOTHING on it, the mirror I put of TWAT's video was the only one I did, and it was more than a year since I mirrored it. Oh, and said video got a grand total of 28 views.

My mirrored video had 75 views, and the video I did poking fun at him had 107, it more than suggested that "he does protest too much" and that with the length and details of his rant, sounded a lot like a self loathing closet homosexual, locked in my his religious bigotry.

@Fozflash And I forgot, you can get YouTube to release the original claim, getting the name, address and phone number used on his claim. However taking legal action against Daniel is going to be fairly expensive, and time consuming as it will have to go through a Californian court district, as that is where the YouTube HQ is located.

@Fozflash and when you file the counter claim, he'll send you a mail asking for your home/cell phone number, because as he claims, this is serious and they want to talk to you about it.

Don't respond, it is Daniel being an ass. Again. Especially as no legal council would write in that fashion, and not sign it "Anonymous" (the mail is sent from "Anon Ymous")
