It seems the Road Trip for Redemption by Jack Snyder will be the big story for November sweeps. Shooting outside the studio, bringing back some of the more memorable actors and characters of the past, and toping it off with the return of Maura West AKA Carly Snyder.

We are hearing a lot of different stories about what is actually happening with Luke and Noah. I think the ill-conceived ,badly written, under developed (Gee! Tell us how you really feel) Forbes March love triangle story line was so bad that when Kreizman took over as co-headwriter he rewrote it to end as soon as possible. But it may not be all that bad because from what Silbermann, Hansis, and March have had to say, the last few weeks of shooting were a blast.

There is a new story line starting when Mason leaves so the guys do not go on a back burner. If the new story line, which is being touted as having great promise, really turns out to be any good, and if the guys ever get some real bedroom action in their, as yet unseen, new apartment, I might give this show another chance.

The True Colors Cabaret in NYC has its first show tonight, hosted by gay fav/goddess Cyndi Lauper, and featuring Gavin Creel. Van Hansis (Luke, As the World Turns) is hosting Cyndi Laupers True Colors Cabaret, a charity event in support of GLBT equality issues. All of the evenings proceeds will benefit the True Colors Fund and Broadway Impact, which is founded by Ms. Lauper and Broadway star Gavin Creel. For anyone wondering what happened to J.J., Parkers younger brother on As The World Turns, Daniel Manche (As The World Turns' ex-JJ) has joined the cast of OLTL and has started appearing as Tom, another student and room mate of Matt Buchanan

The loud buzz of Guiding Light star, Tom Pelphrey (Jonathan) joining it's sister soap As The World Turns has been confirmed by a ATWT representative. According to Soap Opera Digest, Tom will be joining the CBS soap as a new character named Mick.

Lesli Kay returns to Oakdale as Molly Conlan.
Austin Peck leaves his role as Brad Snyder. He joined the show in 2007.
Paul Leyden will be reprising his role as Simon Frasier

All i know about this "up and coming" storyline is that Van has said in a French interview, that Jake does and unbelieveable performence and that the story of Mason leads to another storyline, if the new storyline is what shines jake or not i am not sure, or maybe it is the mason storyline that makes Jake shine it was a little vage to know for sure. But this does sound interesting!
