A short film highlighting the work of Rabbis for Human Rights (RHR) in Israel. RHR is an organization of Israeli rabbis committed to defending the human rights of all people in Israel and in the territories under Israeli control: Israelis and Palestinians, Muslims, Christians, and Jews, young and old, rich and poor, citizens and foreigners. Rabbis for Human Rights-North America was founded in 2002 by a group of American rabbis inspired by the work of RHR in Israel. RHR-North America is the only rabbinic association in North America dedicated to human rights for all and which represents more than 1,000 rabbis of every Jewish denomination across the U.S. and Canada.

  • Considering the Palestinian PEOPLE's plight is not anti-semetic. It is about compassion and real concern.

  • When the false Zionists speak their hatred, and their leaders thump the same memes and verses from the Torah that are twisted to lend to their own political and economic goals, I often have a cold, empty feeling deep in my stomach. It's uncanny and unnatural, like the harmony of those words is gone and that God who they speak of is not to be found within their hearts or their communities..

When Rabbi Asherman speaks, I seems like God is not far away.

  • god bless u rabbi's of rightousness.

  • thank you good sirs for your efforts, you and all israeli human rights organisations are a shining light for the region.

  • I met with Rabbi Arik W. Ascherman, a great man of peace with no political affiliation, just the wish to uphold human rights and justice, he brought me with a group of American and Israeli Jewish people, to an area of Palestine that was occupied by Israeli troops. In Palestinian olive trees have long been destroyed by soldiers, many of them 1000's of years old. in a wonderful act of justice, Rabbi Ascherman led us in replanting olive trees on the Palestinians land.
