Turkey's Erdogan offers helps to Israeli wildfire crisis - CCTV 101204

The Israeli and Turkish Prime Ministers have held an ice-breaking telephone conversation. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked Ankara for sending firefighting aircraft to help quell the wildfire in his country.
The chat was the first between Netanyahu and Tayyip Erdogan since the Israeli prime minister took office in March 2009.
Turkey on Friday put aside tension over Israel's raid on a Turkish flotilla in May to lend a hand.
A Turkish firefighting plane was sent to Israel to help put out flames engulfing woodland near the port city of Haifa.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak thanked Turkish firefighting crews for their help.
Benjamin Netanyahu, said, "You came in the middle of the night, with full force, with reserve crews, with the best planes that are available, and you got into the work right away...I appreciate the Prime Minister's and Greece's response to this predicament of Israel."
