Matt's grandafther Tom Smith Sr. plays trombone with Milton Rich's Dixieland Jazz Saints, one of the more influential New Orleans based traditional jazz ensembles of the 1970s and 1980s. The senior musician of the Smith family was a regular feature with the legendary Murphy Campo Band at Crazy Shirleys,Bourbon St. New Orleans, throughout the late 1970s. This is a 1989 reunion concert.
