  • its one the best live version i have seen in youtube so far and it is not complete. how sad.

  • Beautiful and exciting. Maestro Janowski is a master. I knew this when I worked

with him at the Cologne Opera House back in 1969. He is in a class all on his own.

I was in awe of him as a young singer. Bravo to his tremendous success! I

knew Marek Janowski would be a gift to music in this world.

    Sincerely,

    Elizabeth Marion Cawood

  • At 0:20 it really seems as though there's the Flying Dutchman. The quarts played by the strings improve the effect too.

  • Just heard Parsifal -- what a fabulous orchestra and outstanding conductor. Bravo to all.

  • Just a teaser. ;-) I was there when they played it complete at Berlin Philharmonic Hall.

Janowski follows the line of Hermann Abendroth: "Das Wichtige ist die Musik."

He and this orchestra are TREMENDOUS together :-) . Thanks to him the RSB is the best - side by side with the STAATSKAPELLE in Berlin.

Noisy Rattle ruined the Berlin Philharmonics. :-(

  • it's not complete. why? :(
