Wow, this is so beautiful. ♥

@TheSchimmi i've actually used reason in a live performance..twice, i just record in a 4-8 bar loop, beginning with metronome & later turning that off, and setting the change track buttons on my hardware [I use the Axiom 49 2nd gen, Casio LK 220 and Akai MPD18]
i'll tell you up front though, once you get used to one DAW it's hard to learn another, with the exception of LMMS, Reaper and Reason, so i'd recommend changing soon if you plan on changing at all

@WritingBlind Yeah, Ableton Live is mostly for Live performance, lol. A lot of the time it's wired through Reason so i'll probably do that at some point. Audacity isn't really a DAW though, lol. They're all about the same IMO, it's just about finding what works best for you and running with it. FL Studio is underrated, a lot of huge stuff has been made with it.

@WritingBlind i mean i partially cracked reason 6, but not fully and i think i'm the only one who's done it.i took the trial version which disables saving/opening and enabled opening but not saving..so its like halfway cracked [im a comp geek if you couldn't tell]

@TheSchimmi Cubase is for experts..put simply, fl is preschool, audacity is elementary, ableton is middle/high school depending on how in-depth you go, reason is highschool, and cubase is like 8 year college lmao
to be honest, i just pirated Reason 5 via torrent, but i should be getting a shitload of money soon from mass retail so i'ma purchase a legal copy of Reason 6, which hasnt been pirated yet anyway

@WritingBlind I use Ableton Live but i plan on trying out the Reason and Cubase free trials after a while.

@TheSchimmi what DAW/software do you use? if you ever use Reason, hit me up if you got any questions, i can help you out, i'm pretty experienced in Reason, wouldnt say im an expert but yeah
-
@WritingBlind That's a good point. I really just need to get to the point where i know my hardware and software inside out first. After that i'll probably publish more.

@TheSchimmi i hear you, but [this is what worked for me, to help me find my sound], i released even the first beats/raps i ever made, then went on videos with those comments that, at this time are generic [ha..to think it was original back then] asking people to check it out and give feedback and advice because i knew it was "probably horrible"
so over time with people telling me what was bad and what was good, i found a way to mix my artist vision with sound. just saying
-
@WritingBlind I'm preferring to get better at what i do and 'find my sound' before i really push my stuff out there.
Nah, i wrote it and there's a lot of comments out there so i might as well stand by it.
@Iambeowulf119 I think you mean the company who produces Mac Miller's beats has good taste in what 5 seconds of a song is catchy enough to loop for 4 minutes.
