This is not a Joe Paterno issue, or even a PSU issue. This is a corrupt PA government issue. Judges, cops, the DPW, DAs, and the Attorney General himself at that time, Tom Corbett, are the ones that got hush money or "contributions" that basically bought Sandusky immunity for over 10 years. DA Ray Gricar vanished over this He was probably snuffed for wanting to blow the whistle on his peers for enabling Sandusky. Look at the facts right there in the open, it's not Joe or PSU folks.

paterno's kid comes off like a complete asshole and just reinforces what they're saying about the culture of penn state. stick up for the program, school, and paterno to the bitter end. "We are Penn State"

So the other schools in the league didn't have any pedophile coaches this year, therefore they never let football players slide on academics. Impeccable logic.

I was a grad student at Penn State, and I was a TA and grad instructor who graded football players. Nobody ever messed around with the grades I gave them. Many of them were good students. I'm not making a generalization. I'm just saying what my experience was. But I must add that athletes' grades have nothing to do with the crimes of Paterno & co. I have suffered myself from Penn State's culture of arbitrariness and silence, but this cover-up, it's something else. It makes me want to vomit.
