Laurens Thoughts: I remember hearing the gun click again and I was waiting for him to shoot me, but my tear filled eyes were locked on DexterI still to this day dont know why he left me alive
Dexter: (Reaches for Laurens hand)
Lauren: (takes his hand) Dex why- you didnt have to come out
Dexter: You my little sis I made you a promise youd be okay
Lauren: (Lets go of his hand to take off her jacket and presses it against his bullet wound) No you didnt you cant leave me! I need you. I cant be without a brother and a mother
Dexter: Dont worry LaurenIll always be there for you, I promise
Lauren: (Tears streaming down her face)
Dexter: (Lifts up his hand to wipe her tears) I-I love you little sis

Mr. McKnight: (Knocks on her door) You okay sweetie?

Dexter: (Appears in her room) So how was the first day
Lauren: (rolls her eyes) like you dont already know

Dexter: (Laughs) I know dont worry though youll figure it out on your own someday everything has a purpose
Lauren: I know thatI just dont get it sometimes
Dexter: I know but soon youll figure out why the shooting happened
Lauren: (Looks down eyes fill with tears) Why you had to leave me
Dexter: (Lifts her chin up) Hey Im not really gone Im just a dream away.Im always here
