House of Leaves: Navidson Record(RE-CUT)

Recut w/Sony Vegas. Added other characters. Couldn't find a physically suitable actor to portray Tom though and didn't feel like downloading more footage so I made do. There are still some flaws, but I don't want to render it again. Also, I know a few of them look slightly younger than they were in the book.

This is an amazing trailer. I love your character choices as well as the overall feel of the piece. Hazzah, to you, good woman! Yeah, I can't believe this movie hasn't been made save the fact that it would be damn near impossible. Maybe David Fincher at the helm...but you're right - Milla is the obvious Karen and Cheadle as Reston would be enthralling.

@yourstreetserenade ...interesting. For Lude, I would love to see Jason Lee. Thumper is tougherm but I think Eva Amurri would be a good choice. Huge question would be who is your Johnny? Also, what do you think of my choices. This is fun - lol.

@mysticsushi This was actually cut with Sony Vegas 9, fyi, which most consider a fairly decent video program because it's able to produce professional looking content. If you think it sucks, that's cool with me, but at least read the description and get your info straight before criticizing.

Honestly, this was so far the best trailer for the fake movie that I've seen on Youtube yet except for the one with the pictures that explode into words without any actual actors in it and where it says it's "Produced by Johnny Truant" (which I find to be a little odd considering he was dirt-poor and insane)... Yours looks believable. Though the idea of another Jovovich film makes me physically ill.

This trailer comes about as close to the feel of the story in the Navidson Record as I've seen. Everything is just about right, even the music. I also love your casting - except that I've got Nathan Fillion stuck in my head as Navy, and he says he's not leaving. :P And John Goodman as Tom in his Roseanne era, except a little trimmer and with a beard. Your other character choices are mine, though - though I have yet to paint a suitable Holloway in mah brain. He's more a dark shadow...

I love this video! It makes me so happy to watch this, almost all the characters look the way I'd imagine. I always thought that Seth Rogen would make a great Tom. What do you think?
