1990 Bellarmine Football Team Part #1

This is almost the whole season broken in to two parts. The highlights are in order as well, so you can see the progression through the season. The songs were all songs from that time, with the first and last long being on the tape that we listened to in our locker room each day.

The team only had 28 guys total. As injuries added up, the numbers went even lower. We only had TWO returning starters, and had lost at least 3 division I athletes.

Part one is mostly the regular season...then part two is the final regular season game with St Francis (with 12,000 people). And then the final St. Francis game in San Jose St. stadium for the CCS championship. Where possible I tried to include the scores so you can get an idea of what is happening. (I will improve it when I get a chance)

In the first video, I highlighted our game against Santa Teresa when Joe Nedney (yes that joe nedney) needed only a 20 yd field goal to blemish our record.

This is my first shot at trying this. Sorry if resolution is not high. I will clear it up when i get a chance.

I've followed Bellarmine all my life, as my father is almost a 40 year teacher there. When we talked about our chances at the beginning of the season, My dad said, on paper you guys might be the worst team Bellarmine has fielded in years. And I agreed. It turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life.
