Hot boy plant sperm flies off to find hot girl eggs. Reproduction for this plant moss species occurs when male gametes are dispersed via wind and fertilize female gametes. Filmed on Thompson Island, Boston Harbor National Parks Area.

    I completely agree with you, but there are some sperm in bryophytes that are not flagellated so, yeah...

  • The description for this video is not actually botanically accurate. First the plant in the video does not appear to be a moss. It looks to be a lycopodium which is a fern relative. Additionally the bits flying off the top are spores, not sperm. All sperm have flagella and need water to disperse. Spores on the other hand are airborne dispersed.
