  • Are there the markings along the foot trail ?

  • @donnje As of the last time I was there, The trails were marked with stacks of rocks... Little pyramids of rock that line the trail all the way to the top!

  • @Yesterdays92

    tnk

is a possible trail for inexperienced people?

how long does it go and return?

  • @donnje I would suggest hiring a guide, Ask at the Little A'Le'Inn for assistance with this. Do NOT go there alone. It is very tricky if you're not experienced with the area or peak! You can get lost and die out there if you're not careful! Count on it being an all day trip to go to Tikaboo Peak. It takes about an hour to get to the trail head by car from Hwy 93! Again, Ask for a guide. Worth it! :-)

  • So you can actually see Groom Lake from there?

    Pretty cool...

How long did it take you to go up there? lol

  • Yes, but it helps to have a good set of binoculars. (so you can see hangars etc.) If you're in average shape, it takes about an hour or 2 to reach the summit.

Definately worth the climb! Go For It!
