This is just a quick walk around of my Stang

I'm planning on doing more body work to it over the winter and throughout the spring. I will be finishing off the Saleen kit with the rear bumper and side skirts. I picked up a set of 03 Cobra mirrors as well. I'm re-doing the stereo system over too, geared towards show purposes, of course.

Also, under the hood a lot of things will be powdercoated hopefully by next spring. The accessory pulleys, intercooler piping and the valve covers will all be done in chrome, as well as some of the mounting brackets. The "chrome" BBK headers are all rusted, so I might go with the MAC ceramic coated long tubes which should help me pick up a few more horses. The EGR will probably be deleted, as well as the PCV system too. Breathers will be used to clean up the engine bay a little bit instead of having a bunch of T's off the main line. Some stainless braided hoses might be used for a little more show and if money allows, I'm also going to get some polished caps from UPR and some hood struts from Redline.

Stay tuned until next year once everything is complete, and I will shoot another walk around, hopefully in better quality.

  • hey whats the black pieces on the rear quarter windows, ive seen them on pics of other mustang but dont know what they are.

  • @austinharleyb It's actually the whole C-pillar by the rear window that is replaced, not just a part that is added on (although, some people add vinyl to stock c-pillars to imitate a similar look). These are Saleen OEM c-pillars that now you pretty much only get off of a real Saleen. Stage 3 Motorsports is a big Saleen distributer and I believe they may have a few left in overstock to buy, but that was the last I checked a few years ago.

  • sounds like a belt tensioner is about to go. nice lookin car though

  • Eskamokiller- you need to buy a reflash tuner(sct,diablo). It is a option to turn off since its electronically controlled. It also adds response and a few hp. It's a must with any mild mod mustang. I have a 05 gt, cai, full exhaust, gears, and a dyno tune. Had to buy the tuner for the tune and to bring all the parts together better. V6= better mpgs and ad a turbo and it beats most mild mod gts.

  • my v6 wont go faster then 113 is this because of some goverment chip or somthing and is there anyway i can bypass this

  • How much power?? If you know. I wanna do a ton to my v6 but it always seems like so much money and suck little power :( but badass car by the way :)

  • sick stang dude, v6 love to ya! i got a v6 challenger that i cant wait to supercharge or turbo yet havent decided...so far got a k&n, borla dual exhaust, diablo predator, catless, jba shorty headers, volt stabilizer.........i rather have a unique v6 then a cool v8. love my v6
