there is any even easyer way to do it you go (D, then D but you put your pinkie next to your secound fingure on first fret, same, then D with open e cord "you still have to have your kapo on third fret" )

Hi, I just started playing guitar, trying to self teach and this lesson really helped. But I only have one question, are you leaving the figures down for each chord when you strum or are you lifting them up? Like after you hit the main chord before you switch to the next one.
