It's amazing how horses can do that first they take the lead then win! I've met 3 racehorses before Big Brown, Rags to Riches, and my most favorite Curlin!!!!! I even own a racehorse her name is Velvet Panther! We call her a racehorse because every time we see her run she shows her speed and gets less then 2:20!

His sire Unbridled's Song,a top sire is known for getting fast horses. They tend to be top quality,but he is also known for unsoundness. That being said, I like his progeny,although they usually don't stay around as older horses.

It's a pretty impressive race. It's too bad Rockport fell on hard times in the spring and couldn't compete in the Triple Crown though. He was one of my favorite horses that year.

I agree. RH performed very well here. I think he would have had a real shot at winning one of the TC races had he been healthy.
